West Tennessee Art Museum

The West Tennessee Regional Art Center takes pride in being Tennessee’s only permanent fine arts museum between Nashville and Memphis. Our goal is to make our gallery, with all of its cultural and educational significance, easily accessible for teachers and students.

Ballet Arts

The purpose of Ballet Arts, Inc. of Jackson is to bring the enjoyment and reward of dance to citizens of West Tennessee. To this end, Ballet Arts will administer and sponsor a dance company comprised primarily of students from the area. Its primary objective will be to offer the community dance performances of superior quality, and to enrich the area's musical, artistic, and educational services.

The Jackson Symphony

Since 1963, The Jackson Symphony has provided music programs to the citizens of West Tennessee.  The orchestra and affiliated ensembles perform for a total audience of over 30,000 annually.  The symphony employs 65-70 musicians from throughout the region to perform in 13 annual full-orchestra performances, including the seven concert subscription series.  Every year, The Jackson Symphony presents internationally known guest artists and provides performance opportunities for aspiring young soloists.  The Mission of The Jackson Symphony is to enrich the quality of life in West Tennessee through performances that incorporate a variety of musical styles in a welcoming atmosphere and through a broad spectrum of educational programs for people of all ages.

Jackson Theater Guild

The Jackson Theatre Guild exists to promote, encourage, and support quality theatrical productions, the arts, and the educational aspect of theatre in Jackson, TN and its surrounding areas.  The Jackson Theatre Guild was chartered in 1965 by Jesse Byrum with the help of co-founders Elizabeth Fosse and Bob Huett and was created in response to overwhelming local encouragement.

The Guild's high caliber of professionalism has inspired many of our actors to seek careers in the entertainment industry. The Guild's evergrowing rolodex of alumni includes Second City performer Derek Shipman, broadway actor John West, recording artist - Lauren Pritchard, who was also a member of the original broadway cast of Spring Awakening and Becky Fly, who has appeared in multiple Hollywood films to date.
